Hi all!
Heather here.
I've just been looking at the posts on our blog and someone has left a draft of a post (but not published it )asking how to forward the posts (I don't know who it is as they are posting as Unknown). The posts can't be forwarded, but all K-batchers can look at the site (www.seventytwoers.blogspot.com) and if anyone wants to join and post just e-mail (hjiyer@hotmail.com ) and I'll forward the link to them straightway or asap. This blog is open to anyone to view but only those invited (all K-batchers) can post. Any K-batcher can be invited to post.
We have three members so far:
Me (& Rangu of course!)
Batty
Imroz (Welcome Imroz!)
When you post would you please let us know who you are either by signing on as I've done today or signing off (or both!) then we know who's posted.
Now I know that all you K-batchers are in constant contact so let each other know that the blog is up and running by e-mail. I'm expecting a flood of requests!
I check the blog and my e-mails a couple of times a day so I should be able to send out invites as soon as I get your e-mails. Become a follower too. Just click on the Follower icon (where it says 'join this site' and we can see who's joined up!)
Happy posting!
Heather

Welcome to the Seventytwoers On Tour...........
Hi Everyone. Heather, here, Rangu's other half. I've set up this blog to document our various travels around the world, because we all seem to be doing a lot of it! The idea came to me whilst in Seattle with Rangu, and Imroz and Mary Salam. We were staying with Ashok and Mary Shroff in their beautiful woodland home, following a fantastic trip to Canada, some of it spent aboard The Rocky Moutaineer. We had a wonderful time culminating in the trip to Seattle. K-batchers seem to go to such wonderful places and it seemed a good idea to have a place to share pictures and experiences.
Deepak Batura has jumped straight in and started us off!
The posts on this blog needn't be just holiday trips, they can also be related to work trips, charity trips
or visits to other K-batchers around the world. Our annual-get togethers would be another great subject and we've got some weddings coming up too!!. Ultimately the choice is yours! Post whenever you want. We've started with seven K-batch authors, Rangu, Imroz, Tony Bullar, Pradeep Singhal, Ashok Shroff, Bish and Deepak Batura. If you want to be an authorised author too, contact me via Rangu and I'll add you to the authors list. All you need is a Google account- if you don't have one it's easy to set one up- the when your invitation comes start posting! It's easy to upload photos too (just click on the photo icon and upload) Spouses can post too- use hubby's account or set up your own and become an authorised author. Come on, don't be shy!!!
We look forward to visiting some fantastic places with the Seventytwoers On Tour!!

For herein we assay to chronicle the meanderings and roamings of a band of merry men and women of the great AFMC vintage of 1972, (ie the seventytwoers) and towards that end the Marquis DeBats pledges to record faithfully and truthfully the roamings that he is party to.
He also records his gratitude to Heather Iyer for devising this plan to record the glorious history of these peoples for posterity and would like all sevetytwoers to set their hand to this great effort.
